over 65. This emphasizes that falls are a serious problem in maintaining an elders independence. As a person ages their balance becomes impaired. Some of the reasons why seniors tend to fall are changes in vision, lack of flexibility, less muscle strength, especially in their legs, and changes in their sleep patterns and sensory feedback.

This class is a gentle Hatha Yoga mat class consisting of stretching, strengthening (by holding various poses), and breathe work with a component of meditation.
This is a perfect class for someone who is new to Yoga, would like to practice stretching and relaxation, or perhaps has an injury and is apprehensive about joining a more advanced yoga class in a traditional gym or Yoga studio setting. We offer small class sizes. We modify activity level to your ability and or injury.

Our therapeutic massages are provided by a Licensed Physical Therapist who is explicitly trained in therapeutic massage to give you effective relief of your painful areas.

Pressure point release therapy to relieve tender points within the body's fascial tissue target your specific problem areas.
Our therapeutic massage can be combined with Physical Therapy self pay therapeutic modalities such as Electrical Stimulation and or heat. It may also include Kinesiotape if appropriate.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation can:

Kinesio Tape (KT Tape) is used to support injured muscles or joints without restricting full range of motion. It helps to aid in faster muscle recovery, preventing cramps or spasms. KT tape can also assist in reducing swelling.
