Meet Carol Pietromonaco Murfin, PT, MBA – Founder of Back to You Physical Therapy

With over 30 years of experience treating orthopedic injuries and movement disorders, Carol combines clinical expertise with compassionate, personalized care. A strong patient advocate, she is committed to helping patients achieve their goals while feeling supported every step of the way.

When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, swimming, teaching Pilates, and attending barre fitness classes.

Carol founded Back to You Physical Therapy 15 years ago, with a vision of providing individualized, personalized care.

Carol Pietromonaco Murfin  graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She received her Masters in Business Administration, from Babson College. 

 She speaks English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

 Meet Dr. Courtney Brown PT

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Courtney combines evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, movement pattern approach to care. 

She has extensive experience helping athletes recover from injuries, return to sport safely, and perform at their best. 

Courtney is an experienced runner. She has run 4 marathons, and though she has had her share of running injuries, she is still terrible at stretching. She loves Boston, Halloween, playing fetch with her doberman pinscher, and trying new hobbies. 

Courtney’s clinical specialties include: Pelvic floor physical therapy

Meet Sue Koeller, PT, CHT 

With over 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Sue brings clinical expertise, compassionate care, and skilled manual therapy treatment to every patient she sees. 

She has experience treating wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions, as well as spine, hip and SI joint disorders. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Sue's clinical specialties include:
Wrist, Elbow & Shoulder dysfunction
SI joint and hip dysfunction
Spine injuries, low back and neck
Orthopedic injuries and post surgical conditions
Soft tissue mobilizations, joint mobilizations, Sports/ Therapeutic Massage

After growing up in the Philadelphia area, Susan Koeller attended Ithaca College in New York, playing on the field hockey team and earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Sue earned her certification in hand therapy (CHT) in 1997 and certification in orthopedic manual therapy in 2020.  

  Rehabilitation Aide, Front Desk Specialist

 Anya is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology/Physical Therapy through the 3+3 Doctor of Physical Therapy program at California Baptist University (Online). A skilled gymnast, she shares her passion by coaching children ages 2 to 10 in gymnastics. Outside of academics and coaching, Anya enjoys figure skating and participating in musical theatre. She is excited to join the team at Back To You Physical Therapy as a Rehabilitation Aide and looks forward to gaining hands-on clinical experience while continuing to expand her knowledge in the field of physical rehabilitation.

Kurt is a graduate of Tufts University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Music. After obtaining his EMT-Basic license, he worked for two years as an Emergency Medical Technician, where he gained hands-on experience in acute care and emergency response. Seeking a deeper understanding of patient care beyond the emergency setting, Kurt developed a strong interest in how patients commit to long-term recovery and well-being. He is currently applying to medical school with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Kurt is excited to join the team at Back To You Physical Therapy, where he looks forward to expanding his clinical experience and gaining valuable insights into physical rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

Ginny is a graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, majoring in Kinesiology. Her future goal is to apply to Physical Therapy school and become a physical therapist. She is passionate about helping people to recover from injuries and reclaim functional movement. As a former figure skater, she understands the challenges during the recovery period. Ginny is excited to join the team at Back To You Physical Therapy, where she looks forward to expanding her clinical experience.
